In the last couple of weeks Ethan has seen all the boys out riding their bikes. He tells them to wait for him as he grabs his small Lightning McQueen bike and in his mind thinks some how he is going to ride with them. Kurt and I have been telling him that if he learns to pedal we could go get him a big boy bike. So Friday after a boring time with mom and dad at the mall, we promised him we would go look at bikes. So off we headed to Toys R Us where nothing was working for him. He was way more interested in all the battery powered cars, and told us his famous line "I NEVER can do it!" (The word never is used in every sentence and I've even threatened to put soap in his mouth for it....that's how sick of the word I am!) Anyways as Kurt and I were trying to get different bikes down for him he jumped on some little trike and started cruising around the store. So with all doubt of him not being able to pedal gone...we finally got the right bike down. He jumped down and off he went. It's funny how things just click...maybe it's the magic green machine that taught him how. So here's his new toy...the only toy he wants to play with right now.

Funny kid. He looks so big on his bike!
Tell Ethan grandma loves his new green bike. He looks so old and so proud of his new bike. Love the shirt too. Please tell him to be careful..By the time we get home he will probably have gone through more than one bike, he is getting so big way to fast! Love and miss you....
He is getting so big!!
He's so smart :) That is a cute bike, with little pegs and everything! And I love his little helmet... such a big boy!
What a stud! He and Abby can ride bikes together... only Abby is sort of a chicken on her bike, and she needs a helmet!
What a big boy! Super cute, I can't believe how big he is!
Ethan needs to come over and show Lucas how it is done! We just got Lucas a new big boy bike, but he is being super chicken about it. I think he needs a good example. So what do you say, a trip to New York (it's almost pageant time!!)?
Maysen is so excited to have a bike buddy. I love the pegs on his bike. What a cool bike.
Kara! It was good to hear from you. You're family looks so great and happy. It was really fun to look through your blog and look up old high school friends that I haven't seen since high school. What's really crazy is to see everyone all grown up and with kids! Keep in touch,
Jack
