New Tricks

The kids have been learning a few new tricks behind the boat. Ethan has wake boarded with Kurt and then we got him out there to surf with him. He didn't want Kurt to let go of the rope just yet, maybe next time. I'm proud of him....even though he loves the water he is hesitant at the lake. 

 And this little girl of mine is a pure dare devil. She LOVES the water. She wanted out on the little ski and so we put her on it and sent her out. She's not far from the boat at all and we were going super slow, but I was still shocked. When Kurt told her to stand I just started laughing that she did. When we tried to bring her in she yelled, "MORE!" I think she just might be our water bug.

Kindergarten

I always thought this day seemed so far away. I can't believe it's actually here! My baby boy is in Kindergarten. He started last Thursday and so far he is LOVING it.  We met Grandma Sherry for some McDonalds (Ethan's pick) and then off to the school. He was so brave and so excited that it made it easy on me. I thought I might shed a few tears, but surprisingly I was ok. And after having a silent three hour afternoon, I think I am going to LOVE kindergarten!

WiCkEd

Last year my sister was able to get us tickets to Wicked through a friend of hers who has season tickets to Capitol Theatre! I've been waiting an entire YEAR to see this play! It did not disappoint one bit! I absolutely LOVED it! We went with my sis and her hubs and a few of their friends. We hit up Ztejas for dinner and then headed to the play!

We couldn't of asked for better seats. We were on row 5 right on the side! Now I want to go see it again! Anyone have tickets they want to sell?? 

Miss Reese turns 2

My sassy, spunky, sweet girl turned TWO last Wednesday, August 1st! I can't believe it's been two years since I brought this sweet girl home from the hospital. She gets sassier every day and is Miss Independent. We love her so much and we are so glad she's part of our family. Right now she loves playing with her brother, going outside, playing the Ipad, doing puzzles, riding her scooter, pushing her baby doll, and sitting on anyones lap. She used to be a great eater but has turned in to my picky eater. Even things she loves she won't eat on certain days. She loves to scream (sometimes I think I might pull my hair out), loves to give kisses and hugs, and is talking more and more each day. Her stats at the doctor were:

Weight: 24.14 - 25%

Height: 34.4 - 70%

Head: 18.4 - 40%

Ethan and I went into her room singing Happy Birthday. She was so excited to see a new stroller and doll. 

 After too many pictures I started getting faces like this.

Yesterday we celebrated with the family! She loved being the center of attention and running around with all of the big kids.
