I've come to the conclusion that since I don't have my mom bugging me to update the blog for pictures I've completely slacked off. So the next few posts are a little catch up.
We headed to Midway over Labor Day weekend to attend the annual Swiss Days. We also headed in to Park City to ride the coaster. After waiting in line for a half hour my brother and his little boy got on and as they started up the hill lightning started, so we were all sent away and told to come back another time. Phil and Evan got DRENCHED the ride down, but at least we got tickets to come back.
Ethan was off track for three weeks so we were constantly trying to find things to do. We decided to take a tour of Taffy Town with Tanya and Bree. The kids were semi entertained (I actually thought it was really cool), but they just liked eating the taffy and the cool hair nets we got to wear.
We had a few more swim days at mom and dads pool before it shuts down.
I did some canning...peaches, pears, salsa, and jalapeno jelly.
Reese got a new hair cut. She thought she was so big sitting in this chair and so happy that it was her turn and not Ethan's.
Reese is now trying to do everything I do. She is my girlie girl. I had just finished painting my toes and got up to put something away. When I came back she had her shoes off and her toes under the light! Smart girl!
Went for yogurt with Grandma while dad was at Scouts.
and ran in the fun run at the elementary school.
It was a fun filled first part of September!
