Our baby girl turned one on August 1st. The poor girl was sick with a fever of 101 degrees. We ended up canceling her birthday party with the family so that we didn't get anyone else sick. However we still had our own little party and let her open her presents from us and from Grandma Sherry and Grandpa Sherm. We also had her well child check up the next day and got her stats.
WEIGHT: 19.1 lb. (25%)
HEIGHT: 28.1 in. (25%)
HEAD: 50%
She is getting so big and I can't believe the little personality she already has! She is very determined and knows how to get her way! She claps, shakes her head no, climbs, gives kisses, says no no, owe, dad, mom, & ba ba(bottle), she loves her little brother, and is definitely a mommy's girl! We love her so much and are so glad she is part of our family!
Finally this past Sunday we were able to have everyone over for a little party! Reese loved opening the presents and all the attention, but had a fit any time someone took a present away (we captured her true self on camera..2nd picture down). That girl is definitely all girl with lots of attitude.
She wasn't a big fan of the frosting and cupcake, no diving in for her. Maybe she will take after her dad and not like sweets very much! Thank you family for coming and celebrating her birthday!! I have no idea where a year has went!

Happy Birthday!! Reese and Olivia's personalities seem very similar, we need to get these two girls together some time! And Ethan and Lucas, too. It would be so much fun. Next time we are in Utah for sure... :)

Ah, Happy Birthday sweet baby Reese; I can't believe she's a year already! Crazy :) Well it looks like it was a fun day and I'm so glad she's feeling better. Sorry we couldn't be there; we missed you all :) Love you!

Congatulations!!!! I didn't even know you were prego! How fun!!! You said "Reese just loves her LITTLE brother", so I guess you must be 20 weeks along? That is just great! ha ha ha ha ha Reese is the cutest thing ever and we just LOVE her! Thanks for having us! It was the best time!
