The Green Machine

In the last couple of weeks Ethan has seen all the boys out riding their bikes. He tells them to wait for him as he grabs his small Lightning McQueen bike and in his mind thinks some how he is going to ride with them. Kurt and I have been telling him that if he learns to pedal we could go get him a big boy bike. So Friday after a boring time with mom and dad at the mall, we promised him we would go look at bikes. So off we headed to Toys R Us where nothing was working for him. He was way more interested in all the battery powered cars, and told us his famous line "I NEVER can do it!" (The word never is used in every sentence and I've even threatened to put soap in his mouth for it....that's how sick of the word I am!) Anyways as Kurt and I were trying to get different bikes down for him he jumped on some little trike and started cruising around the store. So with all doubt of him not being able to pedal gone...we finally got the right bike down. He jumped down and off he went. It's funny how things just click...maybe it's the magic green machine that taught him how. So here's his new toy...the only toy he wants to play with right now.

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend was great! Seemed like the weekend flew by...and now it's back to another week. Saturday we spent almost all day working on our master bedroom. We still have some painting and some touch ups before I post pictures. I'm just finally excited to like my master bedroom. So pictures to come in a week or two when it's all put together.

Monday was a great day. It started off bright and early as we headed to East Canyon. Kurt's family had been up there camping over the weekend and we were headed up there to meet up with them. It was the first time pulling the boat out for this summer. I'm already a little bummed that I can't get out on the wakeboard or tubes since this little basketball keeps on growing...and of course for her safety. Ethan was so excited to finally go boating and Kurt and Brandon braved the freezing cold water to do some boarding and the air chair. I didn't catch any pictures of Kurt since I was driving, but I got some of Brandon catching air on the chair. We also enjoyed lounging, playing at the park, four wheeler rides, and of course some outlet shopping. Finally it seems like summer might be just around the corner.

Our very own BUZZ...

Ethan is obsessed with Toy Story....I think this picture explains the obsession.
I've seen these wings on my sis in laws blog and on one of my friends and was wondering where to find them. Out of the blue I stopped at Smith's Market Place and happened to be browsing the toy isle to make Ethan happy when I ran into these puppies....on clearance down to a good old $13. Ignore my ugly wall that was patched...our master is getting a mini makeover...hopefully I will have pictures of the change soon.

Cousin Sleepover

(At the many attempts to get everyone to smile, this was the best)
I am convinced that at future sleepover Ethan will be the annoying person who just won't go to sleep, bug every one, and keep on talking through out the night. The other night my brothers two little boys spent the night for a fun sleepover. At 11:0o p.m. when Kurt went to check on all of them Evan (5) was zonked, but Preston and Ethan who are both three were up still chatting to each other. After multiple threats to Ethan of sleeping in the baby's crib, convincing him to keep the light off, and many many warnings, he finally fell asleep. It was my lovely child who kept them up to the crack of dawn. However they must have been super tired because every one slept through the night just fine!!

In the morning we were off to the park to have some fun....

A date night....

Tonight Kurt was at an open house at his work until 7:00. So my cute date and I headed to Chic for some nuggets and ice cream!! It's always fun to be with my boy!

27 Weeks!!

I'm now 27 weeks. Can't wait to be in the 30's. The belly is poking...and I feel like I'm getting big. I will probably take that back in a month or two when I am an elephant walking around. Until now...here is the picture of the bump now.

Besides doing gymnastics in my belly, being tired, and the norms, this has been a good pregnancy. For some reason I feel like I'm carrying her super low, which hurts more then with Ethan, but as long as she stays healthy and strong I'm happy!

6 Years...Feels Like Yesterday

Wow how time flies. Was it really six years ago that I woke up early to do my hair, do my makeup, and start driving to the temple?? Was it really that same morning that the lady at the store forgot to take the security thing off my skirt....so dad pulled it off and got green ink everywhere?? Luckily that stuff wiped right off!! Was it really six years ago that Presiden Winder turned the lights off in the elevator and told Kurt and I to hurry and make out before we got to the sealing room?? Or that he slipped us tic tacs and told us that temple breath equals dog breath??

It was such a fun, beautiful, all I could ask for day! The weather was great, our family and friends were there, and we were sealed for time and all eternity. What can be better then that!? Six years ago today I married my best friend! Now in that six years he has become even more of a best friend, a confidant, a father, and the best husband I could have asked for!

Happy Anniversary babe!! To six years; and many more to come!
